With The Song: Palestine I Love

Musia Hnyda-Kozemiatku (Musiñka) was born in what is now Moldova to
a Romanian-Moldovan family. Her father’s lineage traces back to Palestinian
roots. Her childhood was overshadowed by the Russian invasion of Transnistria,
forcing her family to leave their home and relocate to Romania.
Musia’s love for music was nurtured by her mother, who sang traditional
Romanian and Moldovan folk songs to her from a young age. These melodies
shaped her musical world, and her mother’s tender voice remains a cherished
symbol of warmth and inspiration. As a child, Musia began writing her own
songs, pouring her emotions and stories into them. She graduated from a music
school, mastering the basics of vocals and piano, and later earned a degree in
”pop vocal performance” from a prestigious Romanian university.
After completing her education, Musia chose to become a vocal coach. She
initially worked only with children, helping them discover their talents, but her
expertise soon attracted a broader audience. Today, she teaches vocal
techniques to students of all ages, including well-known artists drawn to her
unique approach and empathy. Her students call her a mentor who not only
refines their skills but also inspires confidence, sometimes even affectionately
referring to her as their ”musical mom” for her care and support.
Despite her talent, Musia never chased fame. For years, she performed at
local festivals, weddings, and birthdays, where her powerful voice and genuine
energy captivated audiences. Locals adore her for her warmth and charisma,
often calling her ”the voice of our land.” Her renditions of folk songs and original
compositions consistently earn thunderous applause, with listeners noting
something magical in her voice.
In 2025, Musia took a bold step forward, adopting the stage name
Musiñka to launch a professional career. Her husband and parents actively
support her, cheering her on every step of the way. She found a dedicated
producer to help shape her vision, marking a turning point in her journey. With
the love and admiration of her community already behind her, she is presenting
her debut song, Palestine I Love, at Falastinvision, aiming to capture hearts with
her performance. This summer, Musia plans to release a debut EP, further
showcasing her artistry. She continues to create, staying true to herself, her voice
brimming with power and soul, promising great things to come.

The struggle for human rights and self-determination stands as a cornerstone of our shared humanity. Every person deserves to live with dignity, freedom, and equal rights regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or faith. Throughout history, movements that remind us of the equal value of all lives have shaped our understanding of justice – a concept that cannot be selective or applied unequally.

The Palestinian cause represents one of today’s most enduring struggles for recognition and basic human rights. It serves as a powerful reminder that lasting peace can only be built on foundations of justice and equality for all peoples. This ongoing situation compels us to examine our collective responsibility toward supporting those whose voices have been marginalized in their pursuit of fundamental freedoms.

My song ”Palestine I Love” emerged from a profound emotional connection to this struggle, attempting to capture the resilience of a people who have maintained their cultural identity through decades of hardship. The composition intentionally features contemporary, trend-forward production elements designed to appeal to modern audiences and maximize its reach. By creating a track with current sonic sensibilities, I aim to bring awareness of this crucial cause to listeners who might not otherwise engage with political content, using the universal appeal of popular music as a vehicle for meaningful messaging. Through this strategic musical approach, I hope to amplify the call for universal human rights and lasting peace built on respect for all while reaching the widest possible audience.

Song Title: Palestine I Love

Palestine I Love – Musiñka

In the dust where the olives grow,

A fire burns, it won’t let go,

Through the sands, my heart’s been slain,

Palestine runs deep in my veins.

Palestine forever, Palestine I love,

A rush that lifts me high above,

Palestine amazing, my sweet design,

An endless high, forever mine.

Palestine forever, Palestine I love,

A rush that lifts me high above,

Every stone tells a tale of fight,

Shadows dance in the fading light,

I’m hooked, I’m lost, I can’t refrain,

Your call’s my fix, my sweetest pain.

Palestine forever, Palestine I love,

A rush that lifts me high above,

Palestine amazing, my sweet design,

An endless high, forever mine.

No escape, no turning back,

Your soul’s the line I’ll always track,

A craving carved in every sign,

Palestine, my heart’s divine.

Palestine forever, Palestine I love,

A rush that lifts me high above,

Palestine amazing, my sweet design,

An endless high, forever mine.

Through the wars and the tears that fall,

I hear your name, I feel your call,

Palestine forever, my shrine,

Forever yours, till the end of time.
