Born in Lithuania, Mark Lichtenstein was captivated by music from childhood, spending hours crafting melodies on an old piano, guitar, and several other instruments while writing his first songs. He quickly honed his skills, creating heartfelt lyrics. Today, Mark actively writes songs for himself and friends, experimenting with styles, while studying at the Faculty of Journalism, sharpening his ability to tell stories through both music and words.
‘SERVING PALESTINE’ is a musical manifesto of solidarity created to express the resilience of the Palestinian people and the global struggle for freedom. The song combines rhythmic energy with a common call for justice, inspiring listeners to become part of the movement for equality and self-determination. It reflects the principles of FalastinVision, namely belief in the power of unity, courage in the face of oppression, and an unquenchable hope for a future where the dignity and freedom of every person matters. It is not just a song, but a sound bridge between cultures, reminding us that the Palestinian struggle is a struggle for a world free of colonialism and oppression.
