We are very pleased to share the news that we finally – after months of effort – have been able to donate the money from the fundraiser we collected during FalastinVision 2024.
We are extremely unhappy and critical to the ways the fundraising platform GoFundMe operates and wish to spread a word of warning to avoid using it or donate through it. It is also very upsetting to see that many Palestinians in Gaza uses this platform to gain even the slightest bit of support and hope when clearly it is extremely difficult to get hold of the money 💔💔💔
On the more positive note we in the team behind FalastinVision wishes to deeply thank each and every one of the donors who contributed during FalastinVision 2024 and our fundraiser to support the suffering people of Palestine. The donation of 22.127 SEK has been made to @lakareutangranser @doctorswithoutborders and will be used directly as emergency aid for those in need 🙏
This is our second donation to this organisation since we also made a donation of 15000 SEK at the end of last year from profits we had from the live event.
