Ana R. Silva / Annie G. Silva is a citizen of the world born in Portugal who finds in “artivist” the best definition for herself and her work. 

A singer, dancer, actress, writer, artistic creator, facilitator…; fluent in five languages, singing in a lot more and experienced in working together/creating with people from the most varied (national, social) backgrounds and ages: from children in privileged environments to institutionalized toddlers and elders, from youngsters in “social neighbourhoods” to people on the move in detention centres and refugee camps… 

Her musical influences are as diverse as her life experiences. 

Her mission has been clear from a very early age: to create conditions for unheard voices to be heard, for silenced stories to be known, by expressing them through her own creations and/or (preferably) by helping creating the opportunities (she so hard fought for for herself) for performance arts to be a tool as available for everyone as possible. 

Collaborator of the BDS movement and supporter of various actions supporting the dignity of oppressed peoples all over the world, namely the Palestinian.

“Vento” (Wind) is her first original (solo) song to be released. Hopefully others will follow, along the indie/pop-rock vibe. Will be singing about and for Palestine for as long as it’s needed. Hopefully the need won’t exist for long, except in what comes to celebrating freedom and peace for all. 🙏 🙏 🙏 

Anton Berner has been an activist throughout his entire music career and ”Befria Palestina” is a continuation of his unwavering support of human rights and civil justice. ”Befria Palestina” is an empowering battle anthem, calling for the resistance to escalate and for the political enablers of Israel’s genocide to face charges of war crimes.

Anton Berner is a Stockholm-based rapper songwriter and former member of The Drop Theory. He has released music since the early 2000s under numerous aliases and groups. Today, he goes by his birth name and sees his music as a creative outlet for his thoughts on the world. His latest album “PLATS” was releases in 2023.

I’m a  songwriter and guitarist. A militant voice for justice, memory, and the Palestinian cause. I sing for the people who are suffering and are colonized.

We are the dúo Pepe y Mary, a dúo originally from Chile but have been living in Stockholm Sweden for many years. Our work in music has always been for and dedicated to international solidarity and with the people fighting for their freedom.

Frida is from Farsta in southern Stockholm, Sweden. Justice and equality are important values ​​to her and she is passionate about creating a more inclusive world.

Half Light is a symphonic heavy metal band that blends the best of worlds from black, thrash and power
metal with the dramatic sound of a symphonic orchestra.

Debuting last year om May first with the single ”Steadfast” for the very first edition of this competition.
Half light returns this year with the song ”From the wounds emerges Ressistance…!”

A more refined sound. The drums are faster, the voclas angrier and the orchestra even more bombastic.

And the lyrics just as last year is about Palestine. As long as there is occupation there will be continus
releases of ressistance music from this artist!

My name is Jonathan Christie and my stage name is JC BIGFOOT. I am a activist for

Palestine, a rapper and singer/songwriter. I write songs about social injustice and how we
need equality and human rights for all. I have been songwriting for 8 years.

I am also a socialist and I incorporate my socialist beliefs into my music. In addition, I am a
trade union representative in my workplace and I advocate for better workers rights, terms
and conditions, for equality, inclusion and a safer working environment for all.

I believe that the struggles humans face are all interconnected and relate to this horrible
capitalist system.

If we unite worldwide against this system, take action to stop all injustices and keep pushing
for equality, fairness, an end to wars, freedom for all marginalised groups and mass
reparations for all countries affected by genocides, wars, and the affects of climate change.

Together this can result in creating a fairer, safer and more peaceful world for all
We must use our voices as artists to show support for Palestine and call out the genocide
being commited by Israel on the Palestinians.

I have written 6 songs for Palestine to raise awareness of the genocide and war crimes
being commited by Israel, demanding all complict parties are held to account, calling for the
liberation of the Palestinians and showing solidarity with the Palestinian people.

I campaign for Palestine in Scotland with the SPSC- Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
I am an organiser within the group and I stand with Palestine Everyday.

The last 18 months we have had weekly protests outside complicit places like Barclays, the
RAF base in Lossiemouth, the BBC, Home Bargains and other complicit supermarkets.

We have Held weekly vigils, film screenings, music events, festivals, regular BDS (Boycott,
Divestment and Sanctions) actions and much more.

Over the last 18 months I have performed my Palestinian songs regularly at protests, open
mic sessions and at gigs in support of the Palestine cause. My performances have taken
place in many cities in the UK including London, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Inverness and
aberdeen.

I do lots of research to learn more about Palestine and some of the inspiration for my songs
comes from slogans I hear, speeches I listen to and songs from Palestinians and other
people within the Palestine movement.

I have learnt much about the Palestinian culture and the jobs of Palestinians and have
added that into my songs.

Palestinians have taught the world so much including what humanity looks like, courage,
bravery, resilience, ingenuity sumud (steadfastness)l and determination.
We must do all we can to help them.

I have met many Palestinians over the last 2 years and made many friends.

Palestine has a huge place in my heart and it is an honour to know Palestinian people.
In the movement I believe we all have a part to play and to use any skills we have to help. I
write music and the majority of my songs have Palestine included in them.

I hope one day soon there will be a FalastinVision in a free Palestine.

My name is Ellen, and I perform with the name LN Upstairs! I am a Swede currently living in
Dublin where I’m doing my Masters in Music Composition. My music is usually a mix
between social commentary and existentialism, and I strongly believe that all music is
political. Music is my passion, and with my acoustic singer/songwriter style I hope to express
feelings and opinions I struggle to communicate otherwise.

Maria Lumiere is a singer-songwriter of mixed heritage Danish and Guyanese.

MzumO is a Swiss rapper, academic, and activist whose work spans studios, streets, and settler checkpoints. Rooted in a deep connection to Palestine, he has lived, researched, and created with communities from Masafer Yatta to Ayda Camp, documenting life under occupation and the power of cultural resistance. His PhD focuses on settler colonialism in the West Bank, and his music reflects both scholarly insight and lived solidarity.

He raps primarily in Swiss German, infused with the rhythms and textures of Arabic, English, and Standard German—creating a multilingual flow that breaks borders just as much as it speaks to them. MzumO brought Palestine into the heart of Swiss popular culture with powerful verses at the SRF Bounce Cyphers 2024 and 2025, performing in front of one of the country’s largest rap audiences.

If the idea of peaceful Hard Rock is making you a bit queasy, don’t worry. This isn’t some Rage Against the Machine/We Are the World crossover. New Nobility administers the right dose of poisonous rock to balance out the peace and activism, which has won them quite a global following. With awards, accolades and this international attention, the only indie question for these Aussie rockers is how much longer ‘til they’re signed?

Proletarian Poetry is an electronic and political project based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The musical inspiration comes from Electronic Body Music (EBM) and Synthpop. 

The music is combined with socially critical lyrics about the warlike and inhuman world we live in and takes a stand against genocide, warmongering, injustice and everything that threatens the survival of the planet.

The first release, the single Demonize Dehumanize about Gaza becoming a graveyard for children, came in February 2024. Since then Proletarian Poetry has released two EPs with ten songs, the last EP is called Feel the Fear.

Proletarian Poetry’s music has not yet reached the masses, but there is a growing listenership on streaming services, and each new release is played by a number of electronic-oriented radio stations in Sweden, the UK, France, Spain, the US etc.
