With just a few days left until Falastinvision’s second grand final, the brutal genocide continues People are suffering, their culture is being stolen, and yet Israel still takes the international stage as if nothing is happening.  But we will not stay silent. We choose to stand with justice by boycotting those who turn a blind eye and support this violence. And we do that by uplifting and celebrating Palestinian culture — loudly, proudly, and together.  Together, we are powerful. Together, we make a difference. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something.  We invite you to join us on 4 flights of stairs and have room for 10-15 visitors.

Join us for FalastinVision – the genocide-free alternative to Eurovision!  While Eurovision continues to welcome and promote Israel, whitewashing its ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, FalastinVision takes a clear stance. This is a song contest for those who refuse to normalize genocide and who believe music should not provide a platform for states committing war crimes.  Come celebrate music from artists and nations who stand for justice, peace, and human dignity. This is more than entertainment – it’s an act of solidarity with Palestine and all oppressed peoples.  All are welcome who support Palestinian liberation and oppose genocide. Let’s enjoy amazing performances while taking a stand for what’s right.  🎶 At Kirjakahvila (Vanha Suurtori 3) // On May 17th // From 21:00 to 01:00, doors open at 20:00 // Free entry 🎶  Free Palestine!

These are the members of the FalastinVision 2025 jury.

EvaMärta Granqvist

Jury Member FalastinVision

EvaMärta is a Swedish journalist and a conceptual artist who aims to highlight social injustices and the importance of a society based on humanity and a fair distribution of our common resources. She is, among other things, the founder of the national network NU ÄR DET NOG! (Enough is enough) which demands a humane Swedish migration policy since 2018.

”I am so happy to be a part of this event, to be able to share a moment of joy, laughter and music with our friends in Palestine and elsewhere”.

Hamodi Muhammed Jamal

Jury Member FalastinVision

Now, I am studying in Sweden, but I still have a strong passion for theater and music and I love cooking Palestinian food.

Palestine has a rich culture. Keeping Palestinian culture alive and passing it on to future generations is an important part of our struggle.

FalastinVision plays a significant role in showing that Palestine still exists. The Palestinian people, despite all challenges, deserve happiness and a good life.

David Rovics

Jury Member FalastinVision

David has been traveling and singing at protests and other events for most of his adult life.  He has written over 100 songs documenting the Palestinian struggle, many of them in the past 19 months.  His songs related to the Palestinian struggle have been featured on Al-Jazeera, Al-Mayadeen, and even on BBC (before that host got fired).

Nour Badra

Jury Member FalastinVision

Nour Badra is a Palestinian rapper, producer and poet from Sandviken, Sweden. Through his music, poems and creations, he stands up for the rights of the Palestinian people and Sandvikens marginalized areas as he works to promote culture and community in the local hoods.

In his self-produced music project ”811”, he highlights the overlooked parts of Sandviken and with his unique expression of love, respect and community, he has come to establish himself as a role model for many.

In 2024, Nour Badra won the alternative Eurovision Song Contest competition FalastinVision with the entry ”F.T.R.T.T.S.”.
